Come join us for Rally Day, September 10, 2017! The fun starts at 11:19 a.m. After worship (10:30 a.m.) There will be fun, food, and sign-ups for Sunday School.
Our summer worship hours are as follows. 10:00 a.m. English language service 11:30 a.m. Spanish language service After the English service ends and before the Spanish service begins, we have fellowship over coffee and snacks in Ericson Hall.
Every first Tuesday of the month we serve breakfast to 50 homeless people. There is always a need for volunteers to help set up, serve, and clean up. I can tell you that the thankfulness for a warm meal from those who come, blesses those who serve.
Every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesdays from 8-10 am there is a need for help going to pick up and sort food for the homeless. We service 65 families through this outreach. If you would like to volunteer (good idea for community service hours) we meet at the church at 8 am.
The youth had a great confirmation retreat at Briarwood, 3/24-26/17, with 13 youths attending and four adults. Zulma and Maria did a wonderful job teaching the youth the 10 commandments, the creed, and respecting ourselves and others. They had a challenge course that taught them about working together.
